Surprise Prince George joins his parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, at a rugby match

The Duchess of Cambridge won.

Earlier this year, Kate was named Patron of the English Rugby Football League and the Rugby Football Union. Prince William has been patron of the Welsh Rugby Union since 2016. And yesterday, England and Wales played for the first time since Kate's new appointment, with England winning 23-19.

And the Cambridges accompanied a special guest to the Six Nations matchup at Twickenham Stadium.7]

Roya Nikka, editor of The Sunday Times (opens in new tab), attended the event, where Kate said that George had told her to " rugby tackle" and that George's younger brother, Prince Louis, already "loves Kit" and has "started taking the referee's whistle to nursery school."

In a tweet, she revealed.

This is not the first time William and Kate have brought George to a sporting event. The Cambridge trio also watched England play soccer at the Euro 2020 finals last July.
