Selena Gomez is one of those celebrities who seems so down-to-earth that if I had the chance, I'd want to hang out with her with a glass of wine and a face mask. And after her appearance at the 2022 SAG Awards, the star somehow looks even cooler.

First, she released a video of herself in a sweater and messy hair, transforming into her glamorous AF red carpet self ahead of the awards ceremony. She set the video to her song "Look at Her Now." Gomez shared the video through makeup artist Hang Vango.

Next, as Page Six reported, Gomez had a bit of a nightmare when she tripped and fell on the red carpet (well, gray) in black heels. The star then took to the stage to present her award completely barefoot.

Gomez also reunited backstage with fellow Disney star Vanessa Hudgens, who seemed to be having the best time chatting.

Anyway, as for Gomez's outfit, it was also stunning. Gomez, the actress from Only Murder in the Building, wore a fabulous black velvet gown by Oscar de la Renta (from the Daily Mail). The dress was of a floor-length empire line with a thin belt and huge puff sleeves

and was made from a black silk velvet with a black silk belt and huge puffed sleeves

The shoes that caused a fuss were Christian Louboutin black pointy heel pumps.

Gomez adorned the look with an array of platinum and diamond jewelry from Bulgari.

She wore her hair in a chic, slicked-down updo created by hairstylist Marissa Marino that featured a middle parting and was finished with a bow in the back.

Marino (very kindly) explained how to get the look.
