Kate Middleton and Prince William were in Wales for St. David's Day.

As they often do during official visits, the Cambridges took time during their trip to stop and chat with the familiar faces who had gathered to find them. There, the Duke revealed a little sweet tradition that the couple shared with their children before leaving home.

One local woman, Liz Brewer, was waiting for the royal couple in the market town of Abergavenny. According to People, she asked, "How are the children?"

The Duke of Cambridge politely replied, "The children are very well, thank you." Then he added a juicier answer: "The kids are always asking where we are going. I show them where we are on the map." Well, that's lovely.

Brewer spoke directly to People about the meeting. She said, "I was here for two hours, but it was worth it."

Jones was suitably impressed with the attitude of the royal family, adding, "They were lovely people, never in a hurry to walk around talking to people and showing interest in people and towns."

During a visit to Pant Farm, the Duke and Duchess mentioned the Welsh-English rugby rivalry, and the Duke told owners Gary and Jess Yeomans, "She's wearing a Welsh scarf today, though. It's a good family rivalry."

Gary said." George has to be on your side." (17] [18] The Duke said. 'He's already there. Well, that's a first.
