Rizzo is shaking up the status quo with regard to body acceptance, and it is truly amazing to witness.

In a world where big-bodied people want to make themselves smaller, literally, figuratively, and by any means imaginable, this "Rumors" singer stands taller and speaks louder.

In a new interview with People, Rizzo discussed her relationship with her body. 'I think I have a really hot body! I think I have a really sexy body! I'm a body icon and I embrace it every day," she told the magazine.

Of course, because Rizzo is a woman in the public eye, trolls say mean things about her body, but the star has learned to love herself without giving those comments any importance.

"Just like Kim Kardashian, for example, may not be someone's ideal body type, but she is a body icon and sets the standard for modern beauty," she added. 'And what I'm doing is stepping into the confidence and power to create my own standard of beauty. And one day, that will be the standard." [Insert enthusiastic applause and cheers]

Rizzo has worked hard to achieve the success she enjoys today. 'I had to pave the way. 'There was no Rizzo before Rizzo. [I deserve the spotlight. I deserve the spotlight. I'm talented, I'm young, I'm sexy. I'm talented, I'm young, I'm sexy.

The star also mentioned three major barriers to her success as an artist: being black, her gender, and her size. 'I don't think my father wanted to talk to us about the gruesome murders that happen to black people all the time,' she told People. 'But black parents have a responsibility to let their children know what can happen. We were taught from a very young age how black people are treated in America. How black women are treated. And I quickly learned how we treat fat people," he said.

But Rizzo does not let body-shaming get in the way, "paving the way" for other women who are fat by, for example, showing off nudes on Instagram.
