When Charles becomes king, will Camilla's two children receive titles?

We don't hear much about Camilla Duchess of Cornwall's two children, Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopez, but they seem to think they are better off.

Both of Camilla's children from her first marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles have long since grown up and live quietly out of the spotlight. Tom Parker Bowles is a noted food writer and Lopez is an art curator. But with their stepfather, Prince Charles, on the throne, will they be able to claim the title of royalty?

What to do with royal stepchildren is a lost question with no clear answer, as there is still no precedent. However, after the Queen recently stated that she hopes Parker Bowles and Lopez's mother, Camilla, will one day become queen, royal commentator Brian Hoey told the Daily Express, "There has never been a child of the king or queen who has not had a knighthood. Will Parker Bowles' children be elevated?

When asked how likely he thought it was that Prince Charles would grant the title to his two stepchildren, Hoey replied, "I think it's very likely."

He said that the titles would be minor and would not affect the central work of the royal family.

"I think they must get some title," Hoey said.

"Prince Charles says he wants to be a modernist, but he's also a traditionalist and very pragmatic. He is very fond of ritual and believes in the British honor system. [Indeed, Prince Charles and Camilla have had a long and sometimes very complicated relationship since Prince Charles met Camilla in the early 1970s, long before he married her in 2005.
