Parisian shoe brand VEJA recognizes that sneakers are more than just a fashion accessory; they represent an entire generation of youth. More importantly, the brand saw an opportunity to create a different take on the beloved sneaker.

Founded in 2005, VEJA began their journey to sneaker stardom with the goal of making a positive impact with every pair of sneakers they create. Their eco-friendly sneakers are made without chemicals or pollutants, using unprocessed and upcycled materials. They also pre-set the price of their organic and agroecological cotton raw materials to ensure that their producers are financially stable even when the market fluctuates.

VEJA's latest collaboration with Italian fashion brand Marni combines the brand's commitment to improving the fashion world with Marni's emphasis on handmade art and individuality. Vibrant DIY-style graffiti adorns the REACH compliant leather, which is sourced from Uruguayan plantations and tanned in Brazil using a process that reduces water waste. Each pair is assembled by hand, and the sneaker soles are composed of recycled rubber and waste rice, available in the V-10 and the high-top V-15. Made in Brazil, quantities of these vibrant, socially responsible sneakers are limited.
