Cameron Diaz, now "like a beast," says she rarely washes her face.

Cameron Diaz quit acting in 2014 and has been very vocal about her decision ever since. Instead of cameras and award ceremonies, Diaz chose herself and a more normal life. On Michelle Visage's podcast "Rule Breakers," she explained.

"I am absolutely a victim of the social, you know, objectification and exploitation that women are subjected to," Diaz said. 'I myself, at one point in my life, have taken all of that for granted. It's hard not to. It's hard not to look at yourself and judge yourself against other indicators of beauty. I think that's one of the biggest things I've done in the last eight years. I am like the wild. I'm like a wild animal, a wild beast. And I don't care, literally, like the last thing I think about on a daily basis, maybe not at all during the day, is "How do I look?

Asked how one gets there, Diaz explained, "Well, I stop looking in the mirror and I stop taking pictures of myself and selfies." As an actor, I sit in front of the mirror seven hours a day. Just sitting in front of the mirror is toxic. Just sitting in front of the mirror makes me toxic. My body is strong and capable. Why am I so down on myself? Why am I so mean to them after they carried me all the way here?

Diaz says her evolution has come with age. 'I'm turning 50 this year. It's great to know more and more. I've done so much, I know so much. She said.

As for her beauty routine, you won't soon see Diaz on Instagram Stories explaining her 12-step process. 'I literally do nothing. 'I don't wash my face. ' Twice a month, if I'm lucky, I'll be like, 'Oh, I better apply this, I only need to do it once, right?' Like, that's all I do.

Excuse me, but does that sound like bliss?
