Kanye West Banned from Instagram for 24 Hours for Harassing Posts

In recent weeks, Kanye West's behavior towards Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson has stopped being entertaining (if it ever was) and has become straight-up harassment, which has set off alarm bells for many.

The latest to do so was talk show host Trevor Noah, who spent nearly 10 minutes on "The Daily Show" unpacking the whole mess. He expressed concern about West's behavior and criticized Davidson for reportedly texting West "I'm in bed with your wife" while giving him mental health advice.

"This has been spun into a completely tabloid-like story, but I ... I think the public deserves a little more recognition. He was specifically referring to West's ongoing efforts to win Kardashian back.

In response to his comments, TMZ reported that West wrote racist language on Noah's Instagram account.

A spokesperson for the company told TMZ that "Kanye's recent posts violate Instagram's policy on hate speech, harassment, and bullying."

West has posted various insults and attacks against Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, SNL writer Dave Schiras, and actor D.L. Hughley.

The ban means that he cannot post, comment, or otherwise interact with other users for 24 hours. While this is temporary, Meta told TMZ that he will take further action if necessary in the future.
