Sandra Bullock steps down from acting to care for her children.

The film "Lost City," starring and produced by Sandra Bullock, will be released on April 15. Her second film, Bullet Train, will be released in July. But after that, that's it for a while.

The actress has decided to step back from acting for the time being to focus on being a mother. She has two children, son Louis, 12, and daughter Laila, 10, and told "Entertainment Tonight" that her home with them is "the place that makes me the happiest."

"When I'm at work, I take my job very seriously," she continued. And I want to be with my baby and my family 24/7."

"I plan to be there for a while."

As for what exactly that entails, Brock said she will "meet their every need" and coordinate "their social calendar."

But don't worry, she hasn't forgotten COVID's safety in all of this. She told ET, "All the parents know that I am the crazy woman of pandemics [a global pandemic disease]." When my kids come to our house, they know they are coming home without COVID," she told ET." Well, that's a bonus.

Brock is a single parent to Louis and Lila, but has been raising them with partner Brian Randall since 2015.

Randall has a daughter, Skylar, from a previous relationship.

In an appearance on Red Table Talk in 2021, Brock said of Randall, "He is the example of what I want for my children. I have a very Christian partner. So we have two different ways of thinking about things. I don't always agree with him, and he doesn't always agree with me. But even when I don't agree with him, he is a role model."

And although this means there will be no sequels to The Proposal, Miss Congeniality, or Two Weeks Noticed, I am very happy that Sandra, Luis, and Lila will get to spend lots of quality time together.
