Prince George, "has what it takes to be the future King of England."

It's a big task in the future for the little boy today, but according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, 8-year-old Prince George will one day be a fine future king, and "his confidence has grown by leaps and bounds in the last couple of years," the source told the magazine.

"He's assertive, confident, knows what he wants, and isn't afraid to speak his mind," the source said. His personality is really starting to shine through."

Although still a child, "Prince George has already shown that he has what it takes to be the future King of England," the official said. He loves to play pranks on his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and younger siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, and make everyone laugh.

"He copies the art and photographs that hang in Kensington Palace and the house at Anmer Hall. He spends hours painting and drawing, and he loves it." Kate and William are amazed at how good he is and have framed his paintings and given them to [Queen Elizabeth]. His favorite thing to do is to paint pictures of his family."

Another source previously told the magazine that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are taking a "modern approach" to raising their three children, "The royal family is famous for being 'uptight,' but William and Kate are breaking away from that mindset," the source said.
