Read MorePerhaps the most anticipated royal read of the year, it was reported that Prince Harry plans to publish a memoir in late 2022 that will "shake the royal family to its core. But one thing the book will not do" is criticize the queen. [Omid Scobie, a royal expert and himself the author of the must-read royal book "2020's Finding Freedom," recently told the "Royally Obsessed" podcast that, according to the Mirror, in his memoir, Harry will not only include any negative content about her Not only will he not include anything negative about her, but he intends to honor her.
"Harry really went out of his way to write [the book] there so that there is nothing in there that could be seen as negative about the queen or her reign," Scobie said. 'He wants to celebrate the Queen's life and his relationship with her in that book.'
It is clear that the Duke of Sussex's memoir will shed light on the royal family, but ultimately, Scobie said, the royal family is a big part of Harry's life, not an attack on the institution.
"As much as the press would like the book to be a burn book and an attack on the institution of the royal family, this is his story, and of course his story is not just about the years of his life as Duke of Sussex. His story is more than just a few years of his life as the Duke of Sussex. Nevertheless, it is sure to be a fascinating one."
While Her Majesty may not be criticized in the memoir, other royal experts say other members of the family may not fare so well: according to the Mirror, Harry's friends say his stepmother Camilla is likely to be called to the carpet in the book, and and royal biographer Andrew Morton recently said on Us Weekly's "Royally Us" podcast that Harry's father, Prince Charles, may be the target of his son's complaints.
"If I were Prince Charles, I would look for a pile of coats to hide in," Morton said on the podcast. 'If I were Prince Charles, I would look for a pile of coats to hide under. So if I were Prince Charles, I would be looking for a hard hat and a bulletproof vest."
Harry's memoir is scheduled for late 2022.
