Volodymyr Zelensky Thanks Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis for Donations in Support of Ukraine: "They are an Inspiration to the World"

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis continue to raise millions of dollars to help Ukrainians fleeing the war.

President Zelensky shared a photo of the chat on Twitter. He wrote, "@aplusk and Mila Kunis were quick to respond to our grief. They have already raised $35 million and sent it to @flexport and @Airbnb to help refugees. Grateful for their support. We are inspired by their determination. They are inspiring the world. #StandWithUkraine."

The actors are raising money for two organizations through GoFundMe: the first, Flexport, organizes the transportation of supplies to refugees; the second, Airbnb, provides short-term housing for refugees.

They reached their initial fundraising goal of $30 million a few days ago, and generous donations continue to pour in.

Announcing on Instagram that they had reached their goal, Kutcher said, "We are so grateful for your support, two weeks ago we asked you to join us and over 65,000 of you donated what you could. And now, with your help, we have reached our goal of $30 million"

.

"While this is far from a solution to the problem, our collective efforts will provide a softer landing spot for many as they move forward into an uncertain future.

"Our work is not done. We will do everything in our power to ensure that the outpouring of love received as part of this campaign has the greatest possible impact on those in need. Funds have already been delivered to Flexport.org and Airbnb.org and will continue to be delivered.

"As funds continue to pour in, we will treat every dollar as if it were donated out of our own pockets, with respect and honor for the work expended to obtain it, the loving intent with which it was given, and the desire that it be maximized to have a positive outcome for others. We treat every dollar as if it were donated out of our own pockets."[17
