Jonathan Bennett of "Mean Girls" to marry on October 3

Jonathan Bennett, who played Aaron Samuels in "Mean Girls," married his girlfriend, actor James Vaughn.

You would think that these two chose October 3 as their wedding date purely for laughs and my personal gain, but no. They got married in March; they both got married in March; they both got married in March; they both got married in March; they both got married in March; they both got married in March.

Anyway, I am JK and I offer my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple. They spoke to People about their gorgeous ceremony in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and also shared exclusive photos with the magazine.

"When you are part of an LGBTQ+ family, not everything in the wedding space is for you yet," Vaughn told the magazine."

"The whole purpose of our wedding is to come together and join the two of us, join our families, and start a new family.

Bennett added, "And all of that, as we were going through this process, we realized that our wedding is not just about us either. It's about the community as a whole."

The wedding was a "very special day for us.

At the reception, everyone wore black and white tuxedos throughout the celebration.

"It doesn't matter what gender you are, everyone looks as sexy as they are. It's kind of a new tradition for the community." You don't have to wear a dress or a tuxedo. If you want to wear a tuxedo, wear it.

All in all, it was a beautiful and very emotional day. 'I got to marry my best friend,' Vaughn said. 'We knew it was going to be emotional, but I don't think either of us knew how overwhelming that moment would be until it happened. Seeing him cry made me cry more, and it made our guest cry more.

Bennett and Vaughn began dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2020; they have a dog together, whose name I believe is Yasss (an absolutely incredible endeavor), but who alternates between Brad, Rudolph, and Eggnog.
