[8The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have completed their tour of Belize and are now in Jamaica. From there they will head to the Bahamas. Their tour is full of protests denouncing the Royal Family's history of racism and slavery.
At an official dinner with the Governor General of Jamaica, the Duke condemned slavery. 'I wish to express my deep sorrow. Slavery was an abomination and should never have been," he said in his speech (via CNN).
"Although the pain is deep, Jamaica continues to forge its future with determination, courage and fortitude. The shared strength and sense of purpose of the Jamaican people, represented by your flag and motto, is a tribute to an invincible spirit."
