Lottie's Announces Limited Edition "Collector's Edition"

I don't know about you, but when I buy shoes, I like them to be comfortable and versatile (for someone who owns more shoes than I can count, I tend to wear the same two pairs over and over). As climate change has an ever-increasing impact on our planet, I also want to make sure that my fashion is good for the planet. That's because San Francisco-based brand Rothy's (open in new tab) is releasing the first installment of Collector's Editions, a new series for Rothy's superfans that includes both purses and shoes.

Since its launch in 2016, Rothy's has garnered a large following for its comfortable fit, professional style, and commitment to sustainability. The brand creates the signature yarns used in its shoes and bags from recycled plastic bottles. It has already reused more than 100 tons of plastic that would otherwise have ended up in the ocean or natural waterways. In addition, ethical 3D knit production minimizes waste, so you can wear Rosie's accessories without guilt. Not to mention, their shoes, the product that started it all, are incredibly comfortable. [So many of Rothy's customers (a whopping 40%!) own at least one pair of The Driver (opens in new tab), a particularly popular style. So Rothy's is debuting a series of collector's edition products to celebrate the brand's loyal customers and most beloved styles. The first drop will be available in stores on Saturday, 3/25 and online on Sunday, 3/26.

Keeping with the brand's laid-back chic vibe, this first drop consists of a duo of neutrals: a pair of driver shoes in a soft, bright crema color and a windowpane lightweight tote with minimal plaid detailing. What's more, these styles are machine washable, an absolute lifesaver for a klutz like me.

This first drop is perfect for the impending spring and summer, but if white isn't your thing, Rothy's will be announcing new limited releases semi-regularly throughout the year as part of its Collector's Edition series.

While I wait for Sunday's release, I'll be exploring Rothy's website and getting myself excited (and adding a frightful amount of shoes and bags to my cart). Check out some of my favorites below.
