Princess Diana produces secret tape for future brides of Prince William and Prince Harry

According to friends of the late Princess Diana, before her untimely and tragic death in a Paris car crash at the age of 36, Princess Diana had a premonition that she would die young and that she might not see her sons, Prince William and his wife Prince Harry, in the future.

At the time, Princess Diana did not know their names, but she recorded audio diaries for Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, two girls who lived across the globe from each other, OK. According to OK. the friend, who requested anonymity, was the author of Andrew Morton's 1992 According to OK., the friend, who wished to remain anonymous, said that Diana came up with the idea after she recorded the tapes for Andrew Morton's groundbreaking book, "Diana: Her True Story," published in 1992. After that book was published, Diana continued to record and speak from time to time on a small Sony cassette recorder from 1992 until her death in 1997. On those tapes, Diana offers motherly advice and reveals her hopes for the future of William, Harry, and their respective families.

"As incredible as it seems, Diana knew she was going to die young. She was very sensitive to the spirit world and psychic phenomena." She said she made tapes to guide her sons to the day she would be gone."

Diana asked that the tape be played at key points in her sons' futures.

"That way," the friend said, "it would continue to be a part of their lives after she was gone. She thought it was very clever and loved the idea of becoming, as she put it, "a nagging mother from beyond the grave. She found it very funny."

The friend learned about the tape when she had tea at Princess Diana's home at Kensington Palace. She had just finished making the tape a few minutes before her friend arrived, played it to her friend and mentioned all the other recordings she had made.

"This particular one was for William's future wife," the friend said. 'He was about 13 or 14 at the time and had just discovered girls. Diana was fascinated by the idea of him getting married and one day having children of his own. Diana was convinced that he would make a wonderful husband and a warm, caring father.

Diana hoped that William and his future wife would never divorce, says the friend. The tape is a couple of minutes long, and "what struck me was her honesty. She was very honest. She was very sincere. She was straight to the point."

"It was very moving," the friend continued. 'I remember parts of it very well, even after all this time. I was amazed that she actually performed for me. When it was over we talked about what kind of woman William would marry. She thought William's bride would be beautiful, smart, and independent. And amazingly, she was right. Kate is all of that and more."

The tape shared William's childhood memories and Diana's dream of always having a daughter. When Diana said, "Prepare for this to be a one-way chat," it seemed as if she was speaking directly to Kate. Of course, we have yet to meet. I adore you and I know we will be friends soon. You must be a very special person indeed. Otherwise, you wouldn't be my William's wife."

Princess Diana gave advice on marriage, especially as a future queen, saying, "For your marriage to withstand the public gaze and private pressures of royal life, you will need patience, compromise, understanding, trust, loyalty, and of course love. But you must both make the effort." On a daily basis. You know my failures and you know William's father's failures. Learn from these failures. Build a relationship that can endure. You deserve it. And so do your children."

And Diana said that her biggest dream with William is to live a life full of love and joy and raise happy, healthy children, free of the divorce that William and Diana themselves had to endure.

"Family is the most important thing in life," she said. 'Take care of your children for my sake. They carry my heart. Tell them that I love them and will always watch over them."

She kissed William at the end of the tape and told him she loved him, the friend said. It is not certain how many tapes Princess Diana made or who entrusted them to reach William and Harry, but the friend is convinced that Kate heard this tape, which was Princess Diana's way of "dealing with an uncertain future and releasing her soul."

"She talks about her special bond with Diana so often, both publicly and privately," the friend said, "that I'm sure others have been informed." William's mother will remain a constant source of inspiration in their lives, and their children will be the very legacy of Diana's love"
