Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa announced their divorce in January 2022.

Rumors of a reconciliation were quickly denied, but an Access Hollywood interviewer misled on the Oscars red carpet.

They have been together for 17 years, married for five, and share a daughter, Laura, and a son, Nakoa-Wolf. Bonnette is also the mother of Batman's Zoe Kravitz.

Momoa was a presenter at the Academy Awards for Best Sound along with Josh Brolin. Of his inclusion in the lineup, he told Access Hollywood, "It is an honor to be chosen to present such a very important award, especially with Josh.

He also revealed that he had just undergone hernia surgery the day before, and interviewer Zuri Hall said, "You look great!"
