I don't want to disrespect any of you by rehashing the events of Sunday night's Academy Awards ceremony. It is what Daniel Radcliffe specifically said, and the reactions of Will and Jada.

And now, the one major actor left in the ordeal has finally weighed in on the matter: comedian and slapper Chris Rock, who performed his first (nay, second) standup show since the Oscars in Boston on March 30.

According to Variety, Rock received a two-minute standing ovation before "War, okay!" he exclaimed as he came on stage.

He then said, "Hmmm, are we going to do this all night or are we going to ...... " which was a bit of a stretch. What he actually said was, "Yo, let me do the show!"

"I'll be there all weekend.

"How was your weekend? How was your weekend?" And he said at the end." I don't have a lot of crap about what happened, so if you come to hear it, I have the whole show written before this weekend. I'm still trying to sort out what happened. So I'll talk about it sometime. It's going to be serious and funny

Variety reports that someone in the audience shouted, "Get the fuck over Will Smith!" he shouted. Rock wisely chose to ignore the comment.

"I'm going to make a joke," he said. It's good to be out."

People trying to get tickets to the two sold-out shows were getting prices of up to $8,000 on resale sites. (Um, folks, I'm happy to pay thousands of dollars for one show, but I'm just reporting what happened this morning, right? ) That was a joke, and it goes without saying that artists should be compensated for their work.)

Now we just have to wait until Rock is ready to comment further.
