The first thing we noticed about Dua Lipa's look on the 2022 Grammy red carpet was obviously her elbow-length ice blonde hair. The second was her Versace bondage-inspired gown, which looked like an homage to Versace's 1992 "Miss S&M" collection.

Styled by Chris Appleton, Lipa's dramatic new blonde hair was long and poker straight with dark roots. A vintage Versace gown with heavy gold jewelry literally made Donatella look like Donatella.

Donatella Versace famously wore a leather harness gown from her brother's runway show to the 1992 Met Gala. Dua Lipa's strapless dress and long blonde hair were clearly a reference to Donatella, but Miss S&M (and inspiration) was also worn by Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and others.

We love a fashion homage moment, but who better to bring it than Ripa, who never fails on the red carpet? [This is not the first time Ripa has brought the iconic Versace look to the red carpet. She also surprised the 2021 Grammy Awards by wearing a Versace gown, which was a completely see-through, colorful butterfly dress.
