Idris Elba reveals the hit song Meghan Markle requested at her wedding reception.

As if jealousy over not being invited to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding wasn't enough, Idris Elba revealed the song that got the dance floor going at the royal nuptials. Elba may be best known as the impossibly sexy British actor, but don't be surprised! He's also a DJ, and he serviced the royal couple's wedding reception. Because of course he did.

Tiffany Culver, radio host of the BBC's 1Xtra Rap Show, asked Elba about the "atmosphere" at Meghan and Harry's reception. She asked, "What song did everyone go wild over? Surprisingly, Elba replied that the atmosphere was "iconic," adding that the jam that got everyone out of their seats was "American Classics."

According to Elba, the first song that had the guests at Frogmore Cottage on their feet and out of their seats was Whitney Houston's "I Want to Dance With Somebody." This is because we had attended the wedding. Elba also noted that Dr. Dre's "Still D.R.E." featuring Snoop Dogg was a big hit at the reception, at the special request of Princess Meghan. (Wouldn't we pay to see Prince William and Camilla Parker Bowles get down low to Dr. Dre?)

Meghan Markle may not be from Compton like Dre and Snoop, as one racist tabloid headline suggests, but she is definitely a California girl to the core. It is pleasing to see that, even as royalty, she has never relinquished her California roots. As Culver said, "I still love it."
