Prince Charles and Prince William "very angry" when Prince Harry told them they were "trapped

After watching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, we knew we would be learning about the fallout from their bombshell announcement for years to come. And sure enough, more than a year later, we are still receiving new information about how other royal families reacted to the Sussex couple telling the world the truth.

This time, we learned that Prince William and Prince Charles were a bit put off by the fact that Prince Harry not only told his truth, but seemed to be trying to tell theirs as well. Among many shocking claims and allegations, Harry stated that he felt "trapped" in his life at The Farm. He also said that he was able to get out, but that his brother William and father Charles did not have this freedom, and apparently they resented this, according to comments from royal sources.

"I was trapped, but I didn't know I was trapped," Harry said in an interview. 'My father and brother are trapped. They can't even leave. I feel very sorry for them."

Royal biographer Robert Jobson told the "Royally US" podcast via the Mirror that he doesn't think Prince Charles or Prince William ever felt "trapped" in royal life, as Prince Harry said in his Oprah interview. Said Jobson, "I think Harry was speaking for his father and brother when he made his assessment based on his own feelings." Of course, no one likes to have someone else speak for them. 'Both Charles and William were very angry. I don't think that's true, and I don't think he was feeling any tightness," Jobson said.

Despite rumors and talk of rifts between Harry and other family members, neither of the two princes, who are still on active royal duty, have explicitly said they are angry with him. However, they may not be entirely out of character. William, for example, is known to have a bit of a "temper," as Camilla Parker Bowles once told the Express.
