Rihanna Redefines "What's Right for Pregnant Women" with Maternity Style

There's a reason we can't imagine Rihanna browsing the maternity section of Target: she's not ready to change her wardrobe habits just because she's carrying a child.

"When I found out I was pregnant, I thought there was no way I was going shopping in the maternity aisle," she told Vogue magazine for its latest cover story. 'It's just too much fun to get dressed up. I'm not going to let that part of me disappear just because my body is changing."

Does anyone have an argument against that? Unfortunately, RiRi's stylist (Jahlil Weaver) isn't too keen on the subject. Rihanna added, "My measurements literally change by the hour, so I can see why he would lose sleep over it." In fact, I think he's going to ask for a raise after this!"

She added.

On a more serious note, the Fenty founder shared her pregnancy dressing philosophy, which, incidentally, is the perfect answer to the troll who thinks she should hide her baby bump.

"I hope I've redefined what is considered 'decent' for a pregnant woman," she told Vogue.

"My body is doing incredible things right now, and I'm not going to shy away from it. This time should feel like a celebration. Because why should I hide my pregnancy? That's right!

Since announcing her pregnancy with ASAP Rocky, the star has been praised for pushing the boundaries of what is possible to wear during pregnancy. She has stepped out in a series of designer outfits that exposed her incredible baby bump, as if it were her own womanhood and fair play. Prior to her pregnancy, she did not wear stretchy jeans.
