Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck consider $165 million mansion after $55 million home breaks ground

[Money doesn't matter, does it? When you're looking for a house with your beloved, a mere $100 million plus is nothing. ...... Let's be realistic, please.

The newly engaged Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had an offer on a $55 million home in Bel-Air, but this (embarrassingly cheap) deal unfortunately fell through.

According to the Daily Mail, the two quickly recovered and went to see a house worth three times that amount, a $165 million mansion in Hombie Hills, Los Angeles. The house was built by Aaron and Candy Spelling, and Beniffer knows it is worthy of the star couple.

Nicknamed "The Manor," the mansion has 14 bedrooms, 27 bathrooms, 100 garage spaces, 4.6 acres of land, a pool, hot tub, movie theater, tennis courts, and hair salon. No sauna? Cute. Lopez and Affleck are recently engaged (is there a word for remarriage?)

J.Lo confirmed their happy news over the weekend and shared some intimate details about how the proposal went via her newsletter On the JLo this week. She commented on the green diamond ring: "Green has always been my lucky color and always will be. The ring apparently cost $3 million (a bargain).

"The diamond in Jennifer's ring is incredibly rare," Kyron Keogh, co-founder of ROX Diamond and Thrills, tells Marie Claire. 'It appears to be a cushion-cut 8.5ct green diamond with a white trapezoidal diamond. The saturated hue of fancy colored diamonds makes natural colored green stones among the most sought-after stones in the world. Given its exclusivity, it could fetch as much as $3 million"

.

In any case, back to their property search, the lovebirds have visited other homes as well. Regardless of which modest home they choose, we wish them a happy marriage!
