Sadly, Prince William and Prince Harry have not had a good relationship since Prince Harry left the UK with his family.

It is understandable that the Duke of Sussex is eager to repair his relationship with his brother, as they used to be super close. Nevertheless, he believes that they cannot be repaired without outside help.

"I'm told that Harry suggested bringing in some sort of intermediary to make some progress in these talks," royal biographer Katie Nichol told "Entertainment Tonight. 'It was something he suggested to his father. He's made it very clear that he wants things fixed. He wants things to improve."

"His relationship with his brother is probably greater. I think the idea of wanting a mediator probably has to do with him and William. His relationship is really at a bit of a crossroads. We've been told for months now that they are not getting along right now. It's very, very difficult."

The royal expert cited the fact that the Cambridges were away on a ski trip when the Sussexes stopped in England to visit the queen as an example of what the brothers' relationship is like these days. However, she does not believe this was an intentional neglect on Prince William's part.

"I think people read into it that perhaps Prince William is deliberately not here that same week that his brother is coming," she explained. 'William and Kate have only a limited vacation period. They wanted to take the kids skiing over Easter."

"I think it's very clear that they are not going to be here for Easter," she said.

"What wasn't clear, I think, is that once Harry's trip was decided and everything was underway, William had no intention of coming back or shortening his vacation to see his brother."

While it seems reasonable enough not to completely reschedule one's own schedule to accommodate others, Nicole also reminded us that Prince William did not invite Prince Harry to the party he threw for the people who made the Princess Diana statue a reality in 2021.
