If you ask me, the Cambridges had a pretty fun ski trip.

After a long day of public events, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their children George, Charlotte, and Louis enjoyed a well deserved vacation. They flew off to Courchevel in the French Alps, and apparently their eldest son, age 8, instigated it all.

"During the pandemic, George begged William to take him skiing when everything resumed, and his father made it happen," a source told Us Weekly.

They made the trip in style. According to sources, they stayed in a family friend's "$5 million, six-bedroom chalet," where George and Charlotte "took private ski lessons and practiced their French."

The couple also "took a private skiing lesson and practiced their French.

Sources explained that "Kate and William feel it is important that their children are multilingual."

The source also gave details about the children's skiing prowess, which, honestly, was exactly what you would expect from little kids. 'Charlotte was running down the mountain by the end of the vacation. She's fearless!" They said. 'George was a little cautious, but they were both great skiers and competed in fun brother-sister ski races. They had the best time together."

It is unclear if Louis, 3, was able to try skiing, but he likely participated in other snow games: "The kids loved playing in the snow, having snowball fights with Kate and William and building snowmen," said a source to Us Weekly magazine.

Take it from a French girl: Courchevel is a very luxurious resort, and the Cambridges enjoyed the luxury. Kate and William dined at "Le Pilatus," which brought back many fond memories of their last visit.

Having been married for 11 years and counting, the Duke and Duchess know not to put romance behind them. 'William and Kate were able to have a romantic candlelit date before we left. 'After a hectic few years, it was just what the two of them needed to keep the sparks flying. Oh dear!
