Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's relationship quickly became serious. [They had been friends for years until they began dating in January 2021, and Barker soon began tattooing his girlfriend all over his body to show his commitment.

Another important step they wanted to take together was to have children, and they began in vitro fertilization "last summer," according to a source who spoke to People.

"It was like an emotional roller coaster," the source said. 'They didn't expect it to be as hard as it was. It was especially hard for Courtney. They still want a baby. But Travis isn't putting pressure on Courtney. He just wants her to be happy and healthy."

Kardashian wimped out about her difficult IVF journey on the latest episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians."

She told her mother, Kris Jenner, that her doctor's appointment was "terrible."

Speaking to the camera, Kardashian said, "Travis and I want a baby, so my doctor took us down this road of doing IVF and it wasn't the most wonderful experience like..."

She also explained how it upsets her that people on social media are always saying she looks pregnant. All the people on social media are like, 'Courtney's pregnant, Courtney's pregnant, Courtney's gained so much weight. I'm on the medications they've been giving me, they put me on menopause."

She added:" I'm very clean and I'm very careful about what I put in my body, so it's like it's reacting in the exact opposite way, like it's working as a birth control pill instead of helping us."

She also revealed that "the pills also made me depressed."

Jenner made an incredibly important point, saying, "Even if Courtney had three beautiful children, even if you were trying to have a baby and struggling, it doesn't make the pain any less painful."

The mom of six also revealed that she sadly had a miscarriage in 1994.

Kardashian has children Mason, Penelope, and Reign with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, and Barker has children Alabama and Landon with ex-boyfriend Shanna Moakler.
