Kate Middleton showed "moral support and love" to Prince William on recent royal tour: body language expert
Sorry, but I love love love.
Their recent Caribbean tour may have been controversial (and with good reason, considering the history of Belize, Jamaica, the Bahamas and the UK), but according to one body language expert, they had each other's love and support to lean through it.
Judy James told Express, "When William arrived in the country, there were some nonverbal signs of anxiety, but William and Kate's body language showed that they had managed to relax and get into their stride again."
James commented on how thoughtfully the Cambridges interacted while tasting cacao nuts in Belize." They are using their usual mirroring technique here to demonstrate like-minded thinking."
And there is a very strong and silent tie sign that William tentatively tastes the food that Kate has already eaten, and Kate carefully observes him to see if William approves.
James then comments on the way Kate Middleton reacts to her husband's cocoa grinding skills.
"It could be said that their famous competitive spirit has returned," the expert said, "as Kate doubles up laughing and clearly struggles when her husband tries to grind cocoa beans, whereas she is quite successful at the same task.
"Kate's wonderful smile of affection and approval as she looks up at her husband's face is really stealing the show," James continued.
"He could not have wished for a better signal of morale-boosting support and love on this very important royal tour, and the puckering around his own mouth shows that he is aware of it and is subtly returning his own response."
James, "The unique skill this couple possesses as first-class royalty is their willingness and skill to get stuck in."
He added.
Many royal commentators have noted the couple's increased PDA in recent months, and it is clear that the Cambridges' love for each other is growing stronger after 11 years of marriage and three children. As the royal family's role evolves, the two certainly have each other to support.
