Kris Jenner jokes about Khloe and Tristan's engagement before Kourtney and Travis propose

The latest episode of "The Kardashians," now available on Hulu, offers new insight into how Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were living back in October 2021.

Tragically, Khloe seemed really positive about their future as a couple until Tristan's paternity scandal broke and it was proven that he had a child with another woman while he was still with Khloe. It was later reported that the founder of Good American would never take him in again.

"How are you and Tristan doing?" Chloe asked the producer.

"He's fine!" She said. 'We're actually in a really good place. We just got back together. He's been going to therapy a lot, and he's making a lot of effort on his part."

[8 [As she watched a video of Tristan playing with his daughter, True, she continued, "He's a great father! He's an amazing father, Tru has a routine, he loves being with his parents, and it's so wonderful to see her happy face."

She concluded, "I'm so happy for him." When we broke up, I realized how close he and I are, what good friends we are, and what good partners we are."

And I have a lot of hope, faith, and optimism for our future together.

Taking it a step further, some of the show's protagonists joked about the possibility of their engagement as they waited outside a Santa Barbara hotel for Travis Barker to propose to Kourtney Kardashian.

Tristan told some of Kourtney's friends and family who had gathered that "Khloe and True were surprised because I walked in last night and they didn't know."

Family friend Simon Hack then asked, "Any other big surprises?" I probed.

Visibly flustered, Tristan said, "Um... Um... . yet," he replied.

Kris Jenner laughed and joked, "I'd love to stay in the same hotel. She joked, "It would be great if we could use the same hotel.

Given what we know about what happened between the couple after this was filmed, what was a lighthearted moment then feels really sad now. Hopefully, though, Chloe and Tristan will still have no problems as they continue to raise True together.
