Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis in a carriage at the Queen's Jubilee

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations are scheduled for June 2-5, but the British won't let that stop them from celebrating weeks in advance.

The Royal Windsor Horse Show will host a special "Gallop Through History" event on May 12-15 that will re-create the history of the British royal family from Elizabeth I to Elizabeth II.

Dame Helen Mirren (makes sense) and Tom Cruise (doesn't) will also appear, but there is another piece of news that has delighted royal fans. According to Town & Country, 10 of the queen's great-grandchildren will appear in a carriage during the event. [Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Grand Duke of Cambridge, as well as Savannah and Isla Phillips (daughter of Princess Anne's son, Peter Phillips), Mia, Lena, and Lucas Tyndall (child of Zara Tyndall (nee Phillips)), August Brooksbank (son of Princess Eugenie), and Siena Mapelli Mozzi (daughter of Princess Beatrice).

While Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor will certainly be visiting their father's home country for the Jubilee, they will not be attending this special event. Nevertheless, they may attend the Trooping the Colour event on June 2, reports Hello!

As for the horse show, the Platinum Jubilee website describes it as "incorporating international and national military, equestrian, and dance entertainment. Performers from France, Azerbaijan, Norway, Switzerland, and other countries will participate.

The Telegraph also reports that Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, the queen's youngest granddaughter, will drive the prince's carriage as a tribute to Prince Philip.

And, of course, the Queen herself will be in attendance, as she has been every year since the event began in 1943.
