Sussex couple extends stay in UK to give birth to baby Lilibet?
In less than two weeks, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Archie and Lili, will celebrate their platinum jubilee with the Queen in England. Archie, now 3, was named in a private ceremony in the UK on July 6, 2019, exactly two months after his birth. So what are the chances that Lili will be christened while the Sussex family is in the UK for the Jubilee?
This topic was addressed by "Royally Us" co-hosts Christina Garibaldi and Christine Ross on this week's episode, where they read comments from listeners.
"Interesting you say that," Garibaldi replied. 'Perhaps Lilibet will be baptized while in Windsor during the Platinum Jubilee.'
Ross said he would be "shocked if they could stifle it unless it's really, really private," but added, "It might be something really small that they could stifle, just Meghan, Harry, Lilibet, Archie, and the Queen."
Garibaldi offered the possibility that the Sussex family might extend their stay in England to the following weekend to avoid the Jubilee weekend, which has events every day from June 2 to June 5, as well as Lili's first birthday on June 4.
"Maybe they'll extend their stay, maybe the next weekend," Garibaldi said. An interesting point. We have to remain vigilant."
"We have to stay alert.
According to royal expert Neil Sean, there has been drama about Lili's christening for some time. According to his YouTube channel, Neil Sean's Daily News Headlines, Prince William "dragged his feet"
about Harry and Meghan having Lili's christening in the UK. According to a "very good source, Prince William was the one who basically said, 'No, I don't think this is going to work,' and it wasn't a particularly good idea," he said.
How about adding one more thing to the mix during a weekend full of celebrations and having Lili baptized in front of Lilibet (the Queen's family nickname)?
