Bridgerton's Ruby Barker admits to leaving hospital during mental health battle

Ruby Barker, who plays Marina Thompson on "Bridgerton," has been sharing her painful experiences with mental health with fans on Instagram.

Last week, she posted a video from the hospital, explaining why she finally prioritized healing and stopped beating herself up about not being okay.

"How are you' How are you really, though?" said Barker in the video. Barker said in the video. 'You know what, I'm better. I've been sick for a really long time, and I just want to be honest with you guys. I've been in a lot of pain. So I'm in the hospital right now, but I'm getting out soon, and I just want to go on with my life.

In that first video, she thanked her friends, family, and the support of Netflix and Shonda Rhimes (who produced "Bridgeton"). She captioned the video, "Mental Health Week is every week for me. Get it off my chest. For my followers. It's time to be transparent. I've been suffering since Bridgerton. Thank you for having my back. #Your love has kept me going! -YOU GOT THIS," India Moore wrote.

"I hold you close to my heart," wrote Julia Quinn, author of Bridgerton's book.

In a new video posted while enjoying a hot tub in what appears to be a blissful environment, Barker confirms that he is out of the hospital and has the opportunity to thank people again.

Barker thanked people for being so supportive and reaching out to share his own mental health struggles. He said, "It made me feel really lucky to be alive. I no longer feel alone."

She also shared some beautiful advice she learned along the way, including from Jesse." I remember when I was on set, she told me to flip a coin." She said, "It might be dull on one side, but if you flip the coin, you might find that the other side is glowing.

She says in the video, "I'm out of the hospital! Thank you so much to everyone who supported me. Thank you all for a blessed day. ...... Take care of yourself and don't be afraid to meet your loved ones, we are all in this together, as they say in "High School Musical" ...... Big Big Love"
