Prince Charles gives Kate Middleton a kiss on Thanksgiving Friday.
It was the kind of moment that a father-in-law and daughter-in-law could have missed if they blinked on Friday, making eagle-eyed royal watchers swoon.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived just before Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, performed a service of thanksgiving to the Queen at St. Paul's Cathedral, and the four greeted each other at the church's main entrance before joining the procession and taking their seats.
"As they walked toward each other, Charles was seen giving Kate a quick kiss, much to the delight of royal fans," the Mirror reported." They then exchanged a few words before walking to take their front row seats." [Prince Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate did not interact publicly during the service. However, "Marie Claire" reported yesterday that the Sussexes visited Prince Charles and Camilla at their London home, Clarence House, after Thanksgiving on Friday.
This morning, on the final day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Prince Charles and Camilla attended a Big Jubilee Lunch at The Oval in London, where the Prince chatted with, among others, Sarah Freer, CEO of neighborhood app Nextdoor, who sat across from him The Mirror reported.
"He said at the end how wonderful it was to have everyone together this weekend," said Freer, adding that Prince Charles commented, "Are we going to get back into all the squabbling come Monday?"
Freer said it was a "great idea" for all of us.
