In the latest episode of "The Kardashians," Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's separation unfolded (although he was not filmed in this episode for very obvious reasons).

This all happened in the aftermath of Kim learning of Tristan's father-son scandal. Kim told her sister Chloe, who had no idea, even though Chloe was at this stage in the fall and Tristan had apparently been involved in this lawsuit for months before it was leaked.

Speaking with Kendall Jenner on FaceTime, the Good American founder said that of course it would be an ideal situation if Tristan had not cheated at all, but the next best thing would have been for him to come clean about it, not wait for it to come out.

"'If you cheated on me and admitted it, I would respect you a little more. You cheated on me, you lied to me, and you hid it for months thinking I wouldn't find out. Chloe told Kendall. 'There are plenty of others. I just haven't made it public.'

Chloe was understandably very upset by the revelation and chose not to attend a family meeting called to discuss the situation.

She also shocked Kendall by admitting that she had recently fainted. She said, "I'm fine. It's just that sometimes I literally feel like I can't breathe, like I'm gasping for air," Chloe said, adding that she is now taking beta-blockers to help with her anxiety.

Tragically, Chloe admitted later in the episode that she "has no tears left to cry anymore."

She told Kim that she believed in second, third, and fourth chances, but this was the last straw. 'I tried so hard,' she said. I tried so hard."

Tristan's paternity test revealed that he had a child with Maralee Nichols, but he never denied sleeping with her. He had previously been involved in a number of cheating scandals during his relationship with Khloe, but had tried to resolve the situation by undergoing therapy and slowly building trust during the filming of "The Kardashians." The current scandal has put an end to that effort.
