It's a season of celebration for Prince William.

Following in the footsteps of his grandmother, the Queen's Jubilee, and celebrated on Father's Day this past Sunday, the Duke of Cambridge continues the chain of partying occasions with his 40th birthday today, June 21, which is both a milestone birthday and the summer solstice. How's that for a symbol?

The Duke's family has already shown much love on his special day, dedicating sweet posts to him on social media.

First, Wills' father, Prince Charles (Camilla Parker-Bowles to be exact, as posted on Clarence House's Instagram). They wished the Duke of Cambridge "a very happy 40th birthday!" with a birthday cake and a balloon emoji. wrote.

Swiping through the photo album, you can see the prince as a baby in his father's arms, as a child in bright ski clothes on a chairlift, next to his father in more sober clothes, when William was about 20 years old playing with a cow, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with Prince George and as a toddler with Prince George on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, and a more recent snapshot of the two of them grinning and hugging each other, dressed in English country clothes. It's all very nice.

The Queen's Instagram account, @theroyalfamily, has posted equally lovely photos of William over the years, both with and without his grandmother.

The caption read, "Happy 40th birthday, Duke of Cambridge."
