Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker broke up because they were unsure about the future, sources say.
Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker have sadly parted ways after two years of dating, but there is no real bad blood between them.
The former couple intends to "take this time to focus on themselves," a source told Us Weekly. This may end up being a break rather than a final separation, but they "want to figure out if a future together is doomed," the source added.
Jenner and Booker attended Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's wedding celebration in Portofino, Italy earlier this year, and witnessing this apparently made them consider whether such a commitment is what they want for themselves.
"Courtney's wedding really put things in perspective," the source continued. Nevertheless, the two "are still super friendly and supportive of each other."
On top of the pressure of having one of your siblings get married when you aren't (unfortunately), Jenner's mother Kris has somewhat compounded it.
In one episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians," the mother told a model (the only Kardashian Jenner who has no children yet), "I'm so excited and proud when it comes to you guys. We thought it was about time we had a baby." This was seemingly out of the blue.
Her 26-year-old daughter shot back, "I'm so excited. But you know what, Mom? It's my life. I don't know if I'm ready."
If Jenner and Booker did not want children together, now or in the future, it is easy to imagine how such talk could strain their relationship.
