Kate Middleton is reportedly trying to mend the relationship between her husband Prince William and her brother Prince Harry.

"She [Kate] seems to be doing her best to try to put the brothers back together," co-host Christina Garibaldi said on the "Royally Us" podcast (opens in new tab). The siblings' close bond has been tested since Harry moved to the United States with his wife Meghan Markle.

"There is a small ray of hope to save the brothers from never speaking again, and that is Kate," a source told the podcast. 'She senses that William is feeling the loss of Harry. She is desperately trying to play matchmaker, but so far her efforts have been unsuccessful."

The Duchess of Cambridge is said to have called Harry in California and suggested he contact her on William's birthday, but sources say the brothers are stubborn.

Christina said, "It seems like every few months we get word that the brothers are still not getting along. But for the sake of the family, I hope they get back together."

Co-host Christine Ross added, "I think a lot of us have seen how close they've been and we hope that they, sort of, work it out and get on better terms."
