Kate Middleton gives Prince George chores during school vacation.
Kate Middleton may be raising the child who should be king, but that doesn't mean her son Prince George doesn't have responsibilities around the house.
According to a recent Mirror UK report, the Duchess of Cambridge has given George, 8, jobs to do at home during the school holidays. When you hear the word "chores," you might think of folding laundry or dusting shelves, but George's job is a little more unusual.
During a visit to a goat farm in Wales with Prince William, Kate said George was responsible for moving feed for the livestock on the Sandringham estate. The royals also live at the Anmer Hall Norfolk mansion on the property.
Kate mentioned her son's responsibility after the Duke of Cambridge found a robotic silage sweeper in one of the Welsh barns and pointed it out to the farmer. The farmer explained that it could also be used to transport forage. Kate said, "That was George's job for half a semester.
William added that the children (George, Charlotte, and Louis) were involved with the farm at Sandringham Manor. We're also trying agroforestry," he explained."
George will return to school in September. Until then, he will be doing the same household chores as other children his age.
