Meghan Markle is reassuring to Prince Harry, body language expert says

Last week, Prince Harry gave a speech at the United Nations in honor of Nelson Mandela Day.

Prior to the speech, the Duke and his wife Meghan Markle were filmed sitting in the audience as the Duchess offered water to a coughing woman.

In the footage shared on Twitter, it was also clear that the Duke was very nervous and that Markle was comforting and supporting him. Really sweet to watch.

She holds the Duke's hand, places him on her lap, and places a reassuring hand on his arm.

"Princess Meghan felt protective of Harry, which was evident when they sat together before Harry gave his speech," body language expert Darren Stanton told Marie Claire on behalf of Slingo (opens in new tab).

"It was obvious that Harry was nervous, and Meghan tried to keep smiling as the two were in the spotlight. Meghan's facial expressions did not fully engage, as it was apparent that she was distracted."

The Sussexes clearly have a very loving relationship and can be relied upon in times of need.
