We may be seeing a lot more of Prince William and Kate Middleton in the US.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will visit Boston in December for the Earthshot Awards, having previously visited New York in 2014 and Los Angeles in 2011, not long after the royal wedding.

And according to royal expert Omid Scobie, this third visit may be an omen of more to come.

According to the Mirror, Scobie was told by one source that "William is keen for his activities to be seen and have an impact outside the British and royal bubble." He added, "The American charity landscape is huge and he wants to make his presence felt."

According to the outlet, there is even speculation that the Cambridges will embark on a full American tour, including a return visit to Washington D.C. and the Big Apple. Scobie is heard to say that "reconnaissance is planned in Boston and beyond to gauge the couple's engagement," the Mirror reports.

"The source did not mention it, but I thought there might be a bit of competition with his brother in the mix," Scobie said." Harry's popularity in the U.K. may be on the wane, but his rise in the U.S. has brought the Archerwell Foundation a great deal of attention from its impressive list of donors, and his philanthropy and campaigns have earned him and Meghan two of the most influential people in the world, including "Forbes" and TIME, and he was quickly recognized by such media outlets as Forbes and TIME."

Of course, the Cambridges' main focus has always been the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, and rightly so, but the couple seems to recognize the power the United States has globally.

"Who can blame them? They're not the only ones," Scobie says. 'Royal interest on the world stage has long been an essential asset for Britain's appeal abroad.'

The United States has been a major player in the global economy, and the United States has been a major player in the global economy.

In our view, the more royals there are in the US, the better.
